Nigel Stanley

Nigel Stanley is a professional Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 26 years industry experience in the civil, building, infrastructure, oil & gas and engineering sectors including 16 years international experience in Taiwan, Australia, United Arab Emirates and Malaysia. 

Nigel possesses extensive experience in contract, claims, commercial management and dispute resolution of road, rail, power, oil & gas, heavy engineering, high rise and commercial building projects; a proven track record of pre-contract negotiations and award of prestigious high value contracts; project and business unit commercial management and the successful close out of numerous complex design & build and EPC projects.

 

 

Richard Bray

Director

Richard has over twenty years commercial management and contract administration experience primarily in a main contracting environment in Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, the Middle East and the United Kingdom, working with major contractors on a variety of building, infrastructure, civil, oil and gas and marine projects. Experienced in taking projects from pre contract through to final close out with a focus on providing pre tender risk management and contract advice, and thereafter establishing robust commercial management processes and procedures during design, procurement, cost control and contract administration stages. Experienced in bringing together and managing diverse commercial teams across a wide range of often challenging international locations.

 

 

 

 

Jamie Duncan

Director

Jamie is a committed, self-motivated, construction professional with a breadth of experience within various procurement methods and sectors.   He has over 14 years experience in the industry and attained his RICS chartered status in 2005. He has worked on both the client and contracting side of the industry taking projects from initial development appraisal stage through cost planning, procurement and construction. Working within both the client and contracting side has given him a great insight and understanding of the different approaches taken by both parties which is invaluable in allowing him to provide strategic advice and services to clients.

 

 

 

 

Richard Shuttleworth

MRICS
Director

Richard is a commercial executive with over 35 years' experience in international contracting. A professional quantity surveyor who has been involved in projects with values up to hundreds of millions (USD) often delivered via multinational joint ventures.  His experience covers the full range of project lifecycles from contract procurement / negotiation through contract administration to final account / dispute resolution.  Richard is experienced in formal dispute resolution including conciliation, adjudication, mediation, arbitration and litigation.  In addition Richard has experience in corporate transactions including the sale, purchase and integration of businesses into organisations and introducing and implementing effective corporate governance and risk management.

In additional to his commercial expertise Richard has also held operational roles to Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer level which enables him to offer a balanced and unique approach to tackling the challenges faced by contracting businesses.

Nikki has been with East Link Consulting since its inception in 2006 and has assisted in managing the business and its growth over this period. Nikki manages the Businesses accounts, invoicing, recruitment and fee proposals.

Management Accountant

Jamaliah is an experienced Accountant of over 20 years in various industries supporting the Directors and the Business Manager in managing and administration of the finance function of the Company's business.

 

 

John Fairclough

Project Manager / Senior Resident Engineer

John is an experienced Project Manager with extensive knowledge in Planning, Design and Construction of large Engineering and Building Projects. John's extensive experience has been attained by working with both contracting and consulting companies ranging from Airports, Education, Manufacturing, Petrochemical, Power Stations, Residential, Retail and Civil Road Infrastructures Projects.  

 

 

Gordon Gettel

Planning Consultant

Gordon has over 35 years of project controls experience as a Planning Manager / Senior Project Planner with large general contractors.  Gordon has constructed Mine Mill Facilities, Pulp & Paper Mills, Refinery & Petro Chemical Plants, Power Stations, Railway, MRT, Complex Buildings, Tunnel, Highway, Marine / Port Infrastructure and Oil & Gas (Subsea) Pipelines.  

Gordon has planned work on a Direct Construction, EPC and EPCM basis and has completed over 20 major projects.  In addition Gordon has worked in tender planning for over 10 years on major estimates / proposals.  Gordon has performed forensic analysis to support EOT Claims and also has experience in Risk Management, Cost Management, Change Management and Contract Administration with a wide variety of experience in Canada, USA, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Kazkhstan, Singapore and Philippines.

 

Mohd Nor Syafiq bin Mohd Komi

Planner

Syafiq has several years planning and engineering experience on major infrastructure projects in Malaysia, most notably a Hydro Power Project and various packages on the KL Light Rail Transit Line Extension Project ("LRT").  Syafiq is conversant with various planning sotware applications including MS Project and PRIMAVERA P6 .

David is a seasoned construction professional with a vast array of International experience throughout the United Kingdom, Asia and the Middle East.  David is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and has worked with both consultants and clients in most sectors of the industry ranging from complex building structures, civil infrastructure and oil & gas.

 

Cheryl Tang

Managing Quantity Surveyor

Cheryl is a highly experienced team leader, managing large teams of Quantity Surveyors undertaking fast track take-offs and bills of quantities preparation.

 

Mohd Khairi bin Othman

Senior Consultant

Mohd Khairi Bin Othman has gained experience in both Project Management and Quantity Surveying throughout his 25 years industry experience. He is a qualified Electrical Engineer and has been involved in numerous projects both in commercial, contractual and MEP management roles.

 

Zarifah Sofia Abdllah Sani

Senior Consultant

Sofia is a Senior Consultant within the team and has experience in both pre and post contract construction works with PQS and Contracting companies.  This exposure has provided Sofia with excellent exprience and understanding of the construction process.  Sofia has worked on a variety of different project types ranging from mixed developments, hotels, civil and infrastructure works both within Malaysia and Internationally. 

 

Sook Fong Pang

Fong is a Senior Consultant within our Pre-Contracts team working on Quantification and Bills of Quantities. Fong has gained her professional experience by working with large International consultancy companies in the United Kingdom and Malaysia. Poviding both pre & post Contract services including Cost Planning, Cost Management and Contract Admistration.

 

Irene Goh

Senior Consultant

Irene is a Senior Consultant with over 17 years experience in Quantity Surveying.  She has both pre contract and post contract experience in Building and Civil Engineering projects.  Irene has worked with both Consultants and Contractors and supports various parts of the ELC business from quantification / takeoff through to final accounting and claims.

Jaypee is a Senior Consultant specializing in commercial aspects of MEP services throughout the construction process.  Jaypee is a degree qualified Electrical Engineer with practical experience gained working with Contractors in the Philippines and the Middle East.

Venice is a Senior Consultant who has both Malaysian and International experience having worked in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Malaysia and Singapore.  Venice has worked with both Consultants and Contractors involving in most aspects of Construction projects ranging from cost planning, value engineering, pre-contract, post contract and all the way through to final accounting.

Abdul Latif Bin Taher

Consultant

Latif is a Quantity Surveying Consultant with ELC based in our Pre-Contracts department working on Bills of Quantities and Quantity Check.  Latif joined ELC in March 2014 after having completed some project experience working with a civil infrastructure Contractor.

 

 

 

Siti Nuraainaa Mohd Khalis

Consultant

Aainaa is a Quantity Surveying Consultant based in our Pre-Contracts department.  Aainaa brings with her over 8 years of working experience on Bills of Quantities and Quantity Check on various projects from Buildings to Infrastructure.

 

 

Syarifah Athirah T.Ahmad

Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Syarifah is a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, attaining her honors degree in Construction Management and Economics from The University of South Australia.  Syarifah completed her final year research paper on - Investigating Design Related Variation Orders in the Construction Industry.  Syarifah carried out Industrial Training with KPK during her studies and joins ELC as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, progressing through the Company's structured training programme for RICS membership.

 

Halimah Habib

Commercial Assistant

Halimah provides support to clients and our consultants in terms of accounting systems and management, including specific comissions with clients to manage their project accounts systems and ledgers. Halimah has significant experience in dealing with different accountancy software systems and procedures.
